Your SD card is not causing problems, try removing it (Android only) There are various reasons for this issue such as, Multiple log-ins across various devices.Your device's battery is sufficiently charged.Either delete it or comment it by putting at the beginning. Open ‘hosts’ as administrator with any text editor. The file is located under WindowsSystem32driversetc. Your firewall isn’t blocking Spotify (desktop only) For some weird reasons, a file has configured Windows to block a server of Spotify.Your device has at least 250MB of available memory.Your device is supported for Spotify and up-to-date.If it doesn’t, it could be an issue specific to your device. Try switching if yours isn’t on the list. Is it your device? See if the issue happens on a different device, or when using the web player. Though it can work on some other browsers as well, you should check the officially Spotify-supported browsers. Songs can be grayed out if they're not available in your market.Check your network connection, or switch to a different network.Check your device is not in offline mode.After a few failures of either the Android App or the Web Player bugging out, it eventually started playing as intended. I encountered the issue and was playing with the 'play on device X' feature back and forth between my phone and Web Player. 3) Open a spotify link that directly plays a song.
